The challenge

More content. More ways for important details to slip through.

Whether a person writes the first draft or an AI assistant does, the organization is still responsible for what it publishes.

Review can't scale forever

Teams are producing content across more channels, while reviewing every routine requirement by hand takes time.

Standards live in different places

Style guides, preferred terminology, internal policies, and publishing requirements are often disconnected from the writing tools.

Errors become public problems

Missed language or policy requirements can trigger rework, inconsistent communications, and loss of confidence.

Who it's for

Does your team publish content that has to follow a rulebook?

SCAYT is being explored for teams that need consistent checks before content goes public. Find the use case that looks most like yours.

Public-sector communications

Make public information easier to follow.

Explore checks for agency terminology, plain-language conventions, and required content in notices or service guidance.

Research & information publishers

Protect editorial consistency as volume grows.

Explore preferred terminology, style conventions, and documented review checkpoints within report production.

Regulated enterprise teams

Check communications against defined rules.

Explore required disclosures, prohibited wording, and review escalation for business-critical content.

The approach

One workflow. Your standards. Clear next steps.

SCAYT is being designed as a configurable assurance layer, not another writing destination or generic AI chatbot.

01 / CONFIGURE

Define what matters

Set preferred terms, style conventions, required wording, and review criteria around your organization's content policies.

02 / CHECK

Review content in context

Apply checks where people write or manage content, with explanations that connect findings to relevant requirements.

03 / DECIDE

Resolve or escalate

Help authors address findings and route judgment-heavy cases to people responsible for final approval.

We're validating this workflow with prospective customers. The examples below illustrate the intended experience; advanced policy and approval capabilities are not presented as generally available today.

Why SCAYT

Built for organizations with their own rulebook.

Generic writing assistance helps improve a sentence. Enterprise content assurance needs to reflect how your team works, what it must check, and when a person needs to decide.

Your rules, not generic advice

Envisioned around configurable terminology, language, and content requirements.

Designed to fit your tools

Builds on a long-standing foundation of embedding proofreading in editors and applications.

Human decisions stay visible

Proposed review workflows distinguish items to address from those needing expert judgment.

Deployment choices matter

Existing WProofreader supports cloud and self-hosted setups. SCAYT's advanced processing scope will be evaluated per pilot.

From an established foundation

New product ambition. A decade of experience building embedded language tools.

SCAYT is a proposed evolution of WebSpellChecker's proven text-checking foundation. For investors and ecosystem partners, we're open to conversations about the market opportunity, design partnerships, and the next phase of the product.

Questions worth asking

Curious? So are we.

We're developing this product with market feedback, and we want to be clear about the vision and current stage.

Is SCAYT available today?
SCAYT is an early-stage product concept being validated through conversations and pilot exploration. It builds on WebSpellChecker's existing language technology, but the broader policy-checking and approval experience shown here is illustrative and subject to development.
Does SCAYT guarantee regulatory compliance?
No. The proposed solution is intended to help teams check content against requirements they configure and make review more consistent. It isn't legal advice, a compliance certification, or a substitute for expert and human oversight.
Can our content stay inside our infrastructure?
Existing WProofreader technology supports self-hosted deployment. For SCAYT, the available deployment model and which advanced checks can run entirely within an approved environment will need to be confirmed for each pilot. We won't assume every AI-assisted feature is local.
Will this work with our CMS or editor?
WebSpellChecker technology already integrates with different editors and applications. SCAYT's pilot integrations will be selected based on participating organizations' workflows and requirements. Tell us your platform when you get in touch.
How does pricing work?
Commercial packaging and pricing for SCAYT are still being validated. A pilot discussion can help determine scope, workflows, deployment needs, and how you would measure value before discussing a commercial proposal.
